Social Psychology of Risk in Canada
What a wonderful few weeks in Canada at Vancouver, Whistler and Calgary. So much fun sharing the work of SPoR and challenging boundaries and practice in safety.
This is the second visit to Canada and momentum is growing in interest to humanize safety practice.
The workshops this time had a focus on the SPoR Culture Cloud and unpacking a sophisticated understanding of culture beyond the behaviourist definitions that plague Safety. My thanks to Jeff Lyth and Frank Garrett for hosting. The car conversations and fun was amazing, even a Canucks vs Chicago game was a treat! The venue in both places was amazing. North Vancouver, fried pickles and beer after a hard day and wandering Calgary through the +15s, sensational.
There was keen interest in a return with a focus on the SPoR Incident Investigation Program SEEK (https://cllr.com.au/product/seek-the-social-psyvhology-of-event-investigations-unit-2/) and the Due Diligence Program (https://cllr.com.au/product/due-diligence-workshop-unit-13/)
So maybe back in March-April 2019.
