First Report on Zero Survey

In less than a day we now have a sample of 200 responses to the Zero Survey (https://safetyrisk.net/take-the-zero-survey/) and below is a screen shot of the results thus far. At this stage responses are from 70% safety people with the rest being people in engineering, management and non-safety roles.

I will leave it up to you to make some observations. I will make comment at another time and will present a similar review when responses get to 400.

The survey is very straight forward with no loaded ‘questions’ just 10 clear statements one can either agree, disagree or be undecided on. The purpose of the survey is very simple: what do people believe about zero ideology, zero vision and associated beliefs that are anchored to zero. Thus far the results are clear.

No wonder people have such little confidence in associations and organizations that run contrary to their belief and sing from the same song sheet as the global congress on safety (http://visionzero.global/node/6).

The continuation of this delusion can only alienate safety people from association and the supposed leaders in safety who are massively out of step with rank and file safety people who know this delusion is a toxin in the industry.
