We have explained in other places (https://safetyrisk.net/social-psychology-of-risk-body-of-knowledge/) the nature of the Social Psychology of Risk Body of Knowledge (SPoRBoK) but thought it might be helpful to explain in a video discussion.
In SPoR, knowledge is understood relationally, symbolically and socially and so, a Semiotic methodology is necessary to understand knowing. This is neither propositional knowledge or conceptual in a definitional sense. Without a semiotic relational and symbolic methodology one cannot understand how SPoR approaches knowing.
