I was talking to a COO yesterday about their attempts to improve their Organisational Culture.
They had been using a scattergun approach using LinkedIn Lectures, Simon Sinek and BBS, and not getting the results they wanted. In fact, when pushed to what results they wanted, it was explained as a ‘better Culture’.
Said COO could not explain what their Culture was currently, (it was expressed as ‘Not Bad’). I asked, what Methods they were using (none) or what the Culture should look like at the end of the program, (a program which didn’t exist).

So often I see People and Organisations struggling with Culture, because they have no Method.
Some years ago I myself was looking for ‘a better culture’ but couldn’t find a method.
