Nippin will also be one of the key speakers at the annual SPoR Convention to be held in Canberra 13-17 May 2023 (https://spor.com.au/canberra-convention/). His first book Are We Learning From Accidents? A quandary, a question and a way forward, is soon to be released.

This book is going to quickly become a must for anyone in risk and safety.

Nippin helps organisations across the globe Implement SPoR methods (https://www.humandymensions.com/product/spor-and-semiotics/). in the way they tackle risk. In March, Nippin, Matt Thorne and Rob Long are holding workshops in India on SPoR, Culture and Leadership.

The following provides an outline of the proposed workshops in Hong Kong, Singapore, Canberra and Melbourne.

Hong Kong (7 May) – presented with Dr Pedro Ferriere on: iCue a visual method to understand decision making. This positive, interactive, practical and visionary workshop provides skill development in a visual/verbal understanding of risk assessment.

Canberra (20, 21 May) – presented with Dr Pedro Ferriere and Dr Robert Long on: Learning From Accidents. This workshop is based on Nippin’s new book and the structure of the SEEK Program. The workshop is loaded with practical methods and tools to enhance the way events are understood and investigated.

Melbourne (23,24 May) presented with Dr Pedro Ferriere and Dr Robert Long on: Learning From Accidents. This workshop is based on Nippin’s new book and the structure of the SEEK Program. The workshop is loaded with practical methods and tools to enhance the way events are understood and investigated.

Perth (27,28 May) presented with Dr Pedro Ferriere and Greg Smith on: Learning From Accidents.  This workshop is based on Nippin’s new book, the structure of the SEEK Program and the extensive work by Greg Smith on Due Diligence. The workshop is loaded with practical methods and tools to enhance the way events are understood and investigated.
