New Training Material for Mobile Plant Operators

NEW – RII09 learning materials from Easy Guides
 

At the end of September 2011 NSW WorkCover will no longer issue licenses for earthmoving plant and equipment.

At the end of December 2011, the Queensland Department of Workplace Health and Safety will no longer issue licenses for earthmoving plant and equipment.

As in other states and territories currently, there will still be a duty of care obligation on employers and employees to show that earthmoving plant and machinery can be operated safely.

The RII09 Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package will be the training package of choice across Australia. This package has replaced BCC03 Civil Construction and many other training packages.

Easy Guides is working hard to create new learning resources to meet the requirements of the RII09 units of competency for earthmoving plant and machinery.

The new resources will come in the form of Start Up Pack. Each pack will provide all the training materials necessary to help an RTO get a unit on scope.
