It has been wonderful to meet so many of our Brazilian friends through SPoR over the past 5 years and to see them enjoy the learning through the Centre for Leadership and Learning in Risk (CLLR).
The work of SPoR has been received so well in South America (as other parts of the world), as people discover a new way of tackling risk that is practical, positive and constructive. SPOR has many followers all over the globe and many mentors in many places. The work of SPoR is spreading rapidly as people discover how it’s methods help tackle risk. If you want to do safety differently, you need a method in which to do it.
It was after a number of Modules of study in SPoR that Gilval and his team told me of their wish to translate the book. There is no more important need in the risk and safety industry than to dispose of the nonsense ideology of zero. Zero symbolises all that is toxic in the safety industry. Good that our friends in Brazil also know this.
For those who want to download other books in SPoR, they are here: https://www.humandymensions.com/shop/
There are also many videos and other free resources available here: https://spor.com.au
There are also free modules on ethics and culture up for study starting soon, you can find details here: https://safetyrisk.net/no-good-reason-to-follow-reason/

Risk Diversity says
Isso mostra como a semiótica e a semântica são verdadeiramente universais. E que essas pessoas acharam importante para seu trabalho, e fizeram isso em seu próprio tempo, diz muito
muito bem brasil
This goes to show how universal semiotics and semantics truly are. And that these people found it important to their work, and did this in their own time speaks volumes
Well done Brazil
