As a part of culture, everyone can understand behaviours. It is simple because it just requires us to watch and listen. Preferably to discuss what we have seen and heard, but not necessary, in particularly when it comes to investigations.
We make judgements based on how we interpret the behaviours, with or without context. This is the low hanging fruit of Culture.
“What we do around here” as seen by behaviourists is not wrong, but is only a part of a much greater whole. But behaviours can be evidence and interpreted, rightly or wrongly.
Add to Behaviours; Rituals, Gestures and Enactment.
And they appear in the unconscious, but not like heuristics or automaticity.
This is complex in analysis, difficult in expression and interpretation of Qualitative data, which most Behaviourist will reject.
Once again, Enjoy!
