Safety Signage Overkill

We’ve always tried to convince our clients that too many signs are a bad thing and can make the workplace, car park etc a more dangerous place. These images illustrate my point. With too many distractions and too much information from signage to process, people tend to miss the real hazards at ground level or even eye level. If you operate a car park or shopping centre try driving around it one day and see it from the perspective of a motorist visiting for the first time and looking for a spot or an exit or the right way to be travelling.
