The Importance of a Good Pair of Safety Boots
This is not an advertisement or product review. This story was sent in by a highly respected member of the Safety Community:
“I got this jewellers type flat blade screw driver in the sole of my boot when walking around a workplace and thankfully I was wearing good quality boots that prevented an injury, claim costs and a lot of pain and the paperwork would have been a nightmare.
Note the puncture mark near tip of screw driver.
I recently went back to wearing Blundstone’s and I am glad I did. The latest Blundstone advertisement says “tough on the outside soft on the inside” well this is testimony just how tough these boots are.
And as for the comfort side, well I wear my 177’s all day & every work day and this includes a lot of driving – and I go into all environments from board rooms to quarries, marine, food, chemical, agriculture & manufacturing.
They are extremely comfortable and actually help reduce fatigue compared to my previous boots. The grip is exceptional with no ankle roll and they breath. Never worn a boot this good before.
I also wear 550,s when I’m out and about as they not only look good but very comfortable and tough as nails.
I would like to point out that Blundstone donated 3000 pairs of boots/gumboots to the Queensland flood workers. Blundstone – tough by nature.
Visit the website www.Blundstone.com.au They sell more than just bloody good boots.”
