| January 2012 will see the commencement of the Model Work Health and Safety Act, model WHS Regulations and Codes of Practice. It is expected that there will be some changes to qualifications needed to operate earthmoving machinery.
Licence or not, the new 2012 Act requires employers to meet their duty of care and make sure employees are properly trained on the equipment they are using.
