Media Release

Proskill-Mascot Workwear sponsors movie premiere of the year which could terrifically impact workers in Australia and around the world.

Proskill and Mascot Workwear proudly sponsored the movie premiere of Face to Face on Wednesday 31 August 2011.

A story about Sex, Lies and Bullying staring Vince Colosimo, Sigrid Thornton, Matthew Newton and Luke Ford, was directed by acclaimed director Michael Rymer and written by Australia’s top dramatist David Williamson. (Refer Proskill.com.au for movie clip)

In a recent review Michael Moore (Farenheight 9/11) wrote “Only once or twice a year do I see such a film – and this year that film is Face to Face”.

Proskill’s Chief Executive, Chris Doolan, said “Proskill & Mascot Workwear’s main goal is to improve the respect and quality of life of professional tradesman and workers. We do this through top end workwear with built in knee protection and by transferring weight from hips to shoulder’s. To boot the workwear looks pretty cool as well!”

“With Face to Face they have not only created a terrific movie but it delivers a very impactful message on workplace bullying which is an important message for all of us right now.”

“This could also potentially contribute to improving the quality of lives of millions of workers not only in Australia but around the world. With Face to Face having the same goals as Proskill we are very proud to be associated with this Australian movie and its cast and crew” said Mr Doolan.

For the terrific job Michael Rymer, his cast and crew did on the movie Chris presented them with their “Face to Face ledlight baseball caps” which they all loved!

Worksafe Victoria, Victorian Employers’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry, CFMEU, Steel Blue, Holden, Kangan TAFE, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Stonington Council, Worldskills and Lord Somers Camp & Power House all attended the premier as Proskill’s guests. Everyone agreed the movie delivered a very powerful message at the right time!

Proskill also hosted their 10 winners and partners from their competition “What was Vince Colosomo’s character’s name?” Early feedback is they all love it!
