BABY CONCEIVED NATURALLY, SCIENTISTS COMPLETELY PUZZLED.
Perhaps this is exactly what is happening in our industry? Perhaps we are so bent on producing sterile systems that we are blocking, or overlooking what works naturally?

I think he is spot and I’m looking forward to the interesting debate that transpires. I am hoping it is very one sided in support of the affirmative!

I just fell off my chair laughing. So right. I mean evolving systems are good but sometimes I think there are people out there that invent for the sake of inventing.
I am a big believer in simplicity just because I believe that if you overwhelm people with systems and tick and flicks then they lose focus on what we want them to achieve. It seems every time we have an incident the procedures get longer, the Take 5’s get looked at again for modification, JHA’s get looked at for over complication.
I don’t know the perfect answer but I do know my guys don’t go out there to hurt themselves. For me it just takes time on site to watch and educate and keep reinforcing "no job needs to be done if it can’t be done safely".
