What is Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety BSB41407 For?
This certificate course is for anyone interested in pursuing or continuing a career in OH&S. It is considered to be the minimum qualification for anyone in Safety management. It is suitable those responsible for OH&S in the workplace and who feels they need or have been asked to acquire, the qualifications and skills necessary to carry out their duties.
Acceptable trainers and assessors, HR practitioners, WHS officers, Safety Advisers, WHSO’s or OH&S Officers could also find this course meets their basic needs. You will learn to identify, assess and controls OHS hazards and risks, assist with compliance with OHS and other relevant legislation, use equipment to conduct workplace monitoring (ie dust and noise) and contribute to the development and implementation of emergency procedures and safety management plans.
Next education step after completion of the Certificate IV in OHS is the Diploma of OHS.
