The Weick Collection

In SPoR, we have been teaching a module on the work of Prof. Karl. E. Weick since 2014. We are currently undertaking that module with a group of people from all over the globe. In preparation for these studies, I have written many blogs on the work of Karl. You can read that collection here: https://safetyrisk.net/weick-collection/

In 2015, one of my students contacted Karl and told him of our studies. Karl then wrote a wonderful greeting to me inside the cover of his first book. This was presented by the students to me in that year in thanks for all that had learned through Karl’s work. I have never met Karl personally but have valued all his work as a fellow in Social Psychology. I was saddened by his recent death.

It is difficult to describe the pioneering work of Prof. Weick. His insights into human personhood, Transdisciplinarity, Poetics, Social Psychology and organising is truly remarkable.

PhD., MEd., MOH., BEd., BTh., Dip T., Dip Min., Cert IV TAA, MRMIA Rob is the founder of Human Dymensions and has extensive experience, qualifications and expertise across a range of sectors including government, education, corporate, industry and community sectors over 30 years. Rob has worked at all levels of the education and training sector including serving on various post graduate executive, post graduate supervision, post graduate course design and implementation programs.
