The Social Risk Amplification Workshop – Brisbane
18th – 20th October 2017
Risk is not neutral but ‘situated’, this means that all social environments filter the way risk is amplified or attenuated. This was first developed by Kasperson et.al. (Pidgeon, N., Kasperson, R., and Slovic, P., (eds) (2003) The Social Amplification of Risk. Cambridge, London) and is represented in the SARF Model.
If you want to learn more about The Social Amplification of Risk then you are welcome to enrol for the workshop proposed for 18-20 October in Brisbane.
