Poetics and Risk; Part III Slogans

This episode we discuss Slogans in the workplace with one of our favourites β€œAll accidents are preventable,”

Poetic in nature, lovely cadence and song like qualities, make this easy to remember and repeat.

So what else is hidden under the hood? What is the worldview of this statement, what argument is it trying to propose, and what outcomes is it desiring.

Is it humanistic or organisational?

What happens if you don’t repeat the slogan, or are against the slogan? Are you against the Cult?

  1. Slogans are the bedrock of propaganda. We need to be sensitised to these or we will fall for their bait. BTW, slogans are not principles or method.
