‘Plankers’ across Australia appear unfazed by the death of a Brisbane man and are vowing to continue with the extreme craze, even encouraging others to take similar risks. Acton Beale, 20, originally from Tannum Sands near Gladstone in the state’s central region, fell from a high-rise building on Sunday morning when he tried to plank on a balcony railing. Even Prime Minister Julia Gillard ԁеѕсrіbеԁ thе death οf Acton Beale, 20, аѕ “really tragic”, аnԁ urged plankers tο take more care. “There’s a difference between a harmless bit of fun done somewhere that’s really safe and taking a risk with your life,” Ms Gillard told reporters in Sydney. “Everybody likes a bit of fun, but focus has to be on keeping yourself safe first.”
