Safework Australia Code of Practice; managing psychosocial hazards at work
With a short of Mental Health professionals worldwide, it has been put in the Safety domain, and given terms risks, hazards and controls. This compounds the problem because there is nothing in the Safety Curriculum that discusses psychosocial safety.

Risk Diversity has been helping organisations influence Culture using Social Psychology of Risk (SPoR) Methodology. Multinational Organisations have implemented SPoR into their workplaces It works! A New Approach to Risk and Safety
And SPoR was the topic of my book with Rob Long in 2023. SPoR and Semiotics- Methods to Tackle Risk
Psychosocial Risks are dependent upon an organisation’s Culture.
To give people simple understanding of one of the most important models SPoR has, Rob Long and myself put together a series of videos the explore the Culture Cloud. The videos are bite size, between 5 – 10 minutes to give you an idea, but not jump down the rabbit hole
The first video explores the basics of Worldview (Ontology) and Socialitie. Worldview and Socialitie
Enjoy!
